We thought it fitting to give a brief rundown of each Android version on the accompanying code name and release date. However, Google ended that practice in 2019 with Android 10. Oftentimes, more significant updates that aren't quite as significant as full version releases warrant a point update-like the update from Android 8.0 to Android 8.1, for example.įor many years, every version of Android came with a dessert nickname, which many people used instead of the version number. 2, etc.), though those generally come without regularity. Occasionally, Google also releases point updates (.1. Major Android versions are generally released once per year (though it wasn't always like this), with monthly security updates released in between. Keeping up with the latest version can be a challenge, and you may need a new Android phone to get the latest and greatest version of Android. There are a lot of different versions, and many of them are still running on devices today. Try it for free, if you enjoy the three free races then spend the small amount to upgrade, well worth it.Android can be confusing. For any speedway fan that likes to kill a bit of time this is a perfect app. I play is on the Samsung Galaxy S2 and works perfectly (apart from aforementioned bugs). There are a few minor bugs (from a speedway perspective rather than gameplay, plus couple gameplay bugs) but not enough to be a problem in killing a hour having fun with the game, and updates will fix those in due course. I would agree, the reviews are unhelpful, the fact is that I have spent hours playing this game, so well worth the small amount I paid for it. So he/she has given it one star, but to you and I 'turn left' is what gets our pulses racing. For example someone has put that 'the game play is crap, turn left and that's it'. Also, with something like speedway a lot of people download a free version because it's free without knowing anything about speedway, get bored and give a negative review. ![]() Sometimes there's a string of poor reviews because of a bug that may have been fixed, but the poor reviews remain. ![]() but despite that, still some great racing tracks to play.įew minor bugs, I can be excluded for aggressive riding in the semi, but still allowed to race a final, excluded for aggressive riding a bit too easily through the game.īut despite those few minor bugs, which will be fixed I am sure, but for 65p this is a brilliant game and I have had hours of speedway fun from it already.īe careful trusting reviews. Other bugs include the fact in the full version it was not obvious where to actually race a GP season (have to select career and choose a rider) in the GP season, the game always ends at the penultimate GP and I am declared winner, even if not overall points leader at that time, for some reason the final GP is now playable, so that is a bug. The game does have some bugs, and a bit like Pearson did a couple of seasons ago it seems to declare each GP winner as the one with the most points, rather than the Final winner. I would say even paying £5 would be still good value. I am playing this game on a Galaxy S2 device, and upgraded from the Lite version, and for 65p I have had hours of fun with this game already, so value for money without question. Fantastic game, and only 65p on Android if you download the Lite version, play the three races and upgrade from the link at the end. ![]()
